Optimism is a strategy for making a better future. Because unless you believe that the future can be better, it’s unlikely you will step up [improve] and take responsibility for making it so. If you assume that there’s no hope, you guarantee that there will be no hope. If you assume that there is an instinct for freedom, that there are opportunities to change things, there is a chance you may contribute to making a better world. The choice is yours.
Noam Chomsky

You know, we don’t grow most of the food we eat. We wear clothes other people make. We speak a language that other people developed. We use a mathematics that other people evolved... I mean, we’re constantly taking things. It’s a wonderful, ecstatic [delighted] feeling to create something that puts it back [recompense it] in the pool of human experience and knowledge.
Steve Jobs

It is not a question of how well each process works, the question is how well they all work together.
Lloyd Dobens

A group becomes a team when each member is sure enough of himself and his contribution to praise the skills of the others.
Norman Shidle

Everybody in this country should learn how to program a computer, should learn a computer language, because it teaches you how to think… I view computer science as a liberal art, it should be something that everybody learns.
Steve Jobs

Richard Arum and Josipa Roksa

The most important attribute that education can bring to anyone is the ability to think critically. In an era where information and knowledge is universally available, it is the power to comprehend [understand], assess [measure] and analyses which makes the difference – those are the critical thinking skills.
Charles Clarke

If you take responsibility for yourself you will develop a hunger to accomplish your dreams.

The truth of the matter is that there’s nothing you can’t accomplish if: (1) you
clearly decide what it is that you’re absolutely committed to achieving, (2) you’re willing to take massive action, (3) you notice [discern] what’s working or not, and (4) you continue to change your approach until you achieve what you want, using whatever life gives you along the way.
Anthony Robbins

Until you value yourself you will not value your time. Until you value your time, you will not do anything with it.

Be aware of the language of poverty as it's spoken around you: "I don't care about money; I don't understand it; I'll never get out of [evade] debt." This is the language that will keep you poor.

Gracias.
